As an editor, I specialize in Middle Grade, Young Adult, coming of age, romance, women’s fiction, and
mystery.
I am not the right editor for horror, high fantasy or science fiction projects.
At the moment, I do not offer developmental edits for Picture Books. I do however critique query letters
for projects of all genres and age categories.
If I provide editorial services for you, it is understood that I am doing so as a freelance editor, and
not a representative of my literary agency.
If I work with you as a freelance editor, it is understood that I will not review your manuscripts for
consideration, nor will I offer referrals to my colleagues or other agents that I know.

SERVICES AND RATES
Synopsis critique – $80
This package includes a review of your synopsis, as well as a second pass after your revisions. You will receive detailed feedback and suggestions.
The synopsis will be annotated.
Submission package – $140
This package includes a query letter critique (2 passes), synopsis critique (2 passes), and editorial feedback on the first 10 pages of your manuscript (1 pass).
Second pass on the first 10 pages of your manuscript: $50
Pitch critique – $40
A review of your pitch for pitch events. Two passes on your pitch, up to 4 sentences.
Additional pitch for the same manuscript: $30
Additional pass: $10/pass
Editorial assessment – $0,017 per word
With an editorial assessment, you will receive an edit letter that addresses the overall story, pacing, characters, plot, structure, etc.
The edit letter will let you know what is working and what isnât, will outline your manuscriptâs key strengths and areas for improvement.
This does not include line edits. After completion of the editorial assessment, we will book a 30-minute video call to address any questions you might have.
Developmental edits – $0,025 per word
A developmental edit is an in-depth review of your manuscript that includes an editorial letter on overall strengths and weaknesses on pacing, characters, plot, structure, etc.
as well as in-line editorial notes throughout the manuscript with specific editorial suggestions.
After completion of the developmental edits, we will book a 30-minute video call to address any questions you might have.
TURNAROUND TIME
My turnaround time depends on the package you choose and varies depending on my schedule. I will provide an estimate timeline before booking. Rush rates are available if you need a quicker turnaround, please reach out for more details.
PAYMENT
At this time, I only accept payment through Paypal. For services totaling less than $200, I require the
full fee upfront. For Editorial assessment and Developmental edits, 50% of the total fee is due at
booking and the second half is due on the delivery of the edits.
You will receive an invoice with the agreed services purchased, rates, and estimated date of completion.
